Our clients, a professional couple with grown children, found this wonderful river facing two bedroom pre-war apartment in estate condition. Within a very spare pre-war vocabulary, we reconfigured discreet, limited rooms into a flexible plan. Our clients asked us to fit as much program/ storage as possible into the spaces, while also creating enough wall and floor space for the open flow of views and art appreciation. From the beginning, we anticipated the arrival of a lively, ecletic mix of furniture and art-work.
